A new solicitation from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s State Health Access Reform Evaluation (SHARE) program seeks to fund timely, policy-relevant studies that examine the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in the states, and/or the law’s impact on coverage, health care utilization, and affordability.  Competitive proposals will have strong empirical designs, and may involve a single state, groups of states, or national analyses that use state-level data.  This call for proposals is designed to improve the collective understanding of health reform at the state level to inform policy and the implementation process.

Project funding will range from $50,000 to $150,000 to accommodate studies of 12 to 18 months; a maximum of 12 studies will be funded.  Applicants will initially submit brief proposals of four pages or less.  Successful applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal.

The deadline for brief proposals is February 13, 2014 (3:00 p.m. EST).  Read the Call for Proposals and learn how to apply here.
