Speakers will focus on techniques to make research available in a form that is as timely and policy-relevant as possible through channels such as new media vehicles, open access publications, and commentaries. The webinar will also include suggestions for tailoring messages specifically to media and policymaker audiences. Several specific methods of dissemination will be highlighted (traditional journals/media, e-journals, and blogs) along with a discussion of potential barriers and strategies for overcoming them.
